SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE
CONDESCENDING EMAILS
HIGH PRICES, INFERIOR PRODUCTS
If I could rate With Jéan zero stars I would! I bought a dress on the 28th of July and it was in my wardrobe waiting for a special occasion to be worn. Might I add this dress was $189 as a student living out of home this is a lot of money, but I thought I would treat myself. The time finally came around to wear it, I noticed strange seams on the dress but didn’t think too much of it. I washed it and it shrunk. I sent emails after emails as I wasn’t receiving a response. I then finally decided to “DM” @WithJean just explaining my situation and how unacceptable it is to send a consumer such poor quality for such HIGH PRICES. I was sent an automated message back then I finally received an email “you have worn the dress, there’s nothing we can do” like that’s besides the point????? ONE WEAR, ONE TIME. Now this is the icing on the cake ladies and gents, they BLOCKED me off their Instagram... Instead of trying to sort this out amicably they blocked me. I gave them my money and they blocked me.
With Jéan if you’re reading this Consumers Affair will be in contact with you about my refund as I’m protected under Australian Consumer Law.

I recently purchased the Naomi Set for an event and I wish I had of read the reviews for this company before buying. I wore the outfit for no longer than 2 hours, and the fabric had started to pull away and cause rips in the skirt. I had taken such good care of the garment as I understand it is delicate, however I did not do anything outside what a reasonable consumer would do. This garment is not of acceptable quality as per Consumer Affairs and it is not fit for its intended purpose, that is, being a garment!!
Their customer service is extremely poor and their responses are so imprecise and rude. Customers are not going to know if a garment will fit them or know it will be faulty unless they try it on - which then can not be refunded or exchanged as it has be ‘worn’.
Ladies/Gents - Please please follow up your refunds with Paypal or your Bank! I conversed with a Maria from With Jèan via email and we got no where. So I raised a case through Paypal and contacted the online seller through there, and then disputed the case to Paypal approx 10 days later. I received an email yesterday to advise I will be receiving a refund - So please pursue via Paypal or your bank, and if necessary go through Consumer Affairs or ACCC. You are within your rights to request a refund for a product that is not of acceptable quality and that is not fit for its intended use.

Update

Update: I hate this company even more now. After paying to return the ill-fitting dress to them, I was told I would get a refund. Then after receiving my return, they send me a gift card with a one month to use credit or expiration and lose the money completely. They don’t even have anything else I want! I had to fight like hell to get them to reimburse me like they had promised. I also got sent weeks later after I thought I would never have to talk to them again, a nasty accusatory email from them that I received the purchase and am not due for a refund because they don’t have a log of any complaints.... do they need me to forward the 25 email complaints back to them? WITH JEAN IS FRAUD BEWARE

This absolute monsters sent me the…

This absolute monsters sent me the wrong item, asked me to foot the bill to return it from the US to AUS, claimed they never received the package back from me, and then refused to refund me for kindly shipping the item back to AUSTRALIA and refused to refund me for the WRONG ITEM they sent as well.
Upon a month of emailing back and forth they also placed an order for me without my consent for the original item I wanted, which I explicitly told them I no longer needed as the party I was wearing the top to had already happened.
They then told me “Aw well we were going to send you that as a gift but now we won’t xx” as if this is some weird high school little peasant BS.
They finally refunded me after over a month of screwing me out of hundreds of dollars.
Nasty.
I hope they lose everything they’ve ever worked for and never see a shred of happiness ever again.
I would recommend never shopping from them. I curse the day their mothers were hatched which gave way to their sorry excuses grazing the planet.

Waste of money

I recently bought one of their Marseille dresses which is made from and viscose rayon blend. I correctly followed the washing instructions which was hand wash but it managed to shrink to the side of a small child’s dress. This is not the first time I’ve bought from this brand and the exact same thing has happened with the same kind of fabric. Absolute poor quality if the fabric has not been preshrunk I can’t wear those dresses again. Rayon fabric is well known for shrinking when washed. Will not be purchasing again a total waste of my money.

It came in time

It came in time, it was packaged nicely and a free tote bag! the dress was in excellent state and looked like the pictures! would recommend!!

Awful quality & no customer service

Awful quality, after one wear the entire front stitching has come undone on a $180 top.
I emailed them with photos and explained that I had only hand washed in cold water like the instructions say to do and the response was so disappointing.
It was just a copy and paste of their care instruction and she said that it’s a delicate top. That was all! Truely poor customer service.
When I further replied saying I was disappointed in the customer service and the product I got another copy and paste of their care instructions.
Really quite a terrible experience all round from spending $180 on top that is ruined to bad customer service. Will never shop with them again and highly suggest you save your money and shop else where !

Bad quality. No service

Customer service is non existing. Quality is very poor for the amount of money they charge for the garments.
The dress came apart during the party, it was embarrassing and they hide under the excuse that it has been worn. Yes it has, and it is no meant to break after just 2 hours. You are at fault and refuse to take accountability.
I would no recomend anyone to deal with your company

I had a terrible experience with, With Jèan. I bought a dress for $200 and wore a handbag with it and it rubbed on the material and the material wore so much that I could never wear it again. I did not do anything excessive I just wore the handbag. When showing them what had happened; they said they wouldn’t accept a return because I had already worn it. When paying this much for an item you would not expect the quality to be so poor. I Will never shop with this brand again and would not recommend anyone to ever shop with them. Poor quality and poor customer care.

Horrible quality

Never had any issue with their customer service, etc. but the price you pay for the quality of the clothing is ridiculous. I own 2 dresses from With Jean and the quality of all of them are horrible, I have only worn both once. They aren’t double-lined, they don’t flatter the body and they are stupidly short. I’d rather spend my money on a brand like Bec + Bridge where I know the quality is there for a $200+ dress.

Really awful company

Really awful company.
Bad and unhelpful service. The quality of item is not on par with the pricing. Perhaps if making terrible quality items lower your price to cotton on prices. Even cotton on is better quality it seems.
I hand washed the item and the hem on the fabric and got weird and out if shape. The company was not helpful. Perhpas send a replacement if you cannot provide top service.
Do not buy from here! Not happy.
